New 'Somerset Theme' Prize included in the Somerset Bendigo Bank Art Awards 2017

In addition to our top prize of $4000 and 10 other category and additional prizes we also have an extra additional prize this year - The $500 Somerset Theme Prize. This prize is to encourage artists to create work about the spectacular Somerset region - landscape, wildlife people or lifestyle. You can interpret this theme however you like but must be based on Somerset Qld,

If you would like your entry to be considered for this prize as well, you will need to tick the Somerset Theme box on the entry from. The winner for this prize and all other additional prizes will be selected from across the 5 categories - painting, works on paper, photography or 3D.

Entry deadline is 5pm 15 May, 2017 and the Gala Opening Night is Friday 16 June, 2017 with the exhibition continuing until Sunday 18 June, 2017.
